Venesection is a treatment for patients with haemochromatosis and polycythaemia.
Patients with haemochromatosis can become blood donors once they meet donor selection criteria. Learn more about referring patients with genetic haemochromatosis for blood donation.

- Contact your local clinical apheresis unit.
For patients outside Aberdeen and Dundee you should contact your local haematologist.
