Fraud awareness workshop

Learning more about fraud and its impact can help us reduce the risk of fraudulent activity across NHSScotland and the wider public sector.

Why attend our fraud awareness workshop

Our workshop will help you understand the ways people can bribe, steal and scam money from the public sector.

Our counter fraud specialists will share examples of fraud and corruption and how we investigated them. You will also find out how we can use the information you share to build investigations and bring fraudsters to account.

What you’ll learn

Our fraud awareness workshop will help you understand:

  • the role of our team of counter fraud specialists
  • the cost of fraud in your organisation
  • the ways people can attempt fraud in organisations like yours
  • how to report fraud

The workshop can be tailored for clinical and administrative environments depending on the requirements of your organisation.

Who should attend

Our workshop is relevant to:

  • all NHSScotland staff
  • all employees of our non-health partner organisations
  • clinical student groups
  • vocational trainees

Our workshop can last from 20 minutes to one hour depending on your requirements and is free to our partner organisations.
