Julie Burgess

Julie has a health service career spanning over 30 years, starting out as a nurse and specialising in critical care. She has held executive director and CEO roles in the NHS (in England). She has also previously worked at government level in both Scotland and England.

Julie holds an executive coaching & mentoring qualification and has practiced as a coach for a number of years. As well as her current Non-Executive Director role for NSS, Julie is a member of Hospice UK’s Major Grants Committee and is also a school governor for a community college.

  • Renumeration and Succession Planning Committee

Julie is also the fraud champion for NSS.
