How to submit an application

The application process for submitting specialist service proposals to NSSC has three stages:

  1. Outline submission – indicating clinical need, expected benefits, level of evidence available and external support for the proposal.
  2. Detailed submission – evidencing clinical effectiveness, target patient group, expected numbers, patient pathway of care, performance & quality monitoring measures, costs currently being incurred and estimated overall cost of proposed service.
  3. Finance, workforce and delivery plans – a full workforce and financial business case, and plans on how a resilient, sustainable and equitable service will be delivered. This section should also include any additional information requested by NPPPRG/NSSC.
