Following the administration of In Practice Systems Limited (InPS) in late 2024, a contracted GP IT provider to NHS Scotland, OneAdvanced has acquired the company and assumed responsibility for the NHS Scotland GP IT contract.
The purchase and signing of the NHS Scotland contract will now see OneAdvanced become a contracted provider of GP IT clinical systems in NHS Scotland, continuing uninterrupted delivery of GP IT services to Scotland's GP Practices.
Steven Flockhart, Director of Digital and Security at NHS National Services Scotland said:
“A stable and effective GP IT system is essential to supporting primary care across Scotland. The asset purchase of INPS by OneAdvanced concludes a period of uncertainty for GP practices in Scotland and will support the provision of a consistent service going forward. We look forward to working closely with OneAdvanced on this next phase of service delivery.”
He adds, “We’re grateful to the GP community for their continued engagement, and to the former InPS team and administrators for their efforts in maintaining service stability throughout the transition.”
