Do I pay for dental examinations?

NHS dental examinations are free to all patients resident in Scotland and other UK residents visiting Scotland, but overseas visitors are subject to the National Health Service (Charges to Overseas Visitors) (Scotland) Amendment Regulations 2006.
Patients will be expected to contribute 80% of all other treatment costs up to a maximum of £384.
