How to support your exemption claim

If you have received a letter from the NHS Patient Claims team

To support your entitlement to claim exemption you must provide evidence.

We will close your case only if you send us the appropriate evidence.

If you are not exempt then you must repay the charges outlined in our letter.

If you fail to comply a penalty and a surcharge will be applied to your case.
