Keith Redpath

Keith Redpath became chair of NHS National Services Scotland on 1 August 2019.

Prior to his retirement in 2017, Keith spent a total of 42 years working in both local government and the NHS in Scotland. Since retiring he has been appointed to non-executive positions with the Care Inspectorate and the Scottish Social Services Council.

Keith was the chief officer of the West Dunbartonshire Integrated Joint Board and, between 2015 and 2017, he was the Chair of the National Chief Officers Group representing the views of his fellow chief officers across the health and care system in Scotland. He spent 20 years promoting and advocating for the integration of health and social care
services, which is one of the government’s key priorities in its Health and Social Care Delivery plan.

Keith gained extensive experience in the development of change programmes and partnership working, in the continuous delivery of organisational and financial objectives, all with a focus on delivering improved outcomes for the users of the services that the organisations that he led had a responsibility to.
