Martin Bell

Martin took up his current role as Director of Primary Care and Counter Fraud Services in March 2019, having been Associate Director Planning, Performance and Service Delivery and Interim Director of Strategy and Governance before this. Martin joined NSS in October 2013 and has been involved in strategy development and performance monitoring throughout. He also spent 15 months with NHS Fife as Tailored Support lead, coordinating targeted NSS services into the Board.

Prior to joining NSS, Martin served in the Royal Army Medical Corps. He held a number of senior positions, delivering pre-hospital, primary and secondary healthcare services globally. Outside work, Martin enjoys rugby, hill-walking and time with his family.
