Background
New DCVP (nDCVP) is a replacement for the current pharmacy payment system.
DCVP processes payment schedules for pharmacies, dispensing doctors and appliance suppliers in respect of services they have provided and items they have dispensed, producing monthly payment schedules for each NHS Scotland Health Board.
The system is a critical element of automated payments to providers dealing automatically with c£300k of payments daily.
nDCVP will Go Live with May 2023 as the first dispensing month to be processed via the new system. As a result, Contractors submitting claims from 1st May 2023 for that dispensing month will see their claims processed via the new system and paid in July 2023.

nDCVP and DM+D Webinar
Following on from a nDCVP and dm+d Webinar held on the evening of Thursday 27th April, to provide some clarification and assurance following the initial issue of the Key Differences Guide, several outputs from the webinar are now available for those unable to attend or who wish to revisit the webinar.
