The purpose of an access audit is to assess the suitability of a building for use by people who have physical, sensory, or mental impairments. This publication is intended to enable GP practice and health centre managers to carry out an access audit of their practice premises. The aim is to identify those aspects of the building which would need to be improved or modified to enable the premises to perform within the spirit of the Disability Discrimination Act 1995.
