This series provides information on the building and operating principles for CDUs, LSUs and Endoscope Decontamination Units and outlines the objectives and service requirements in terms of the provision and operation of the facility.

This series provides guidance to help planners, estates and facilities managers, decontamination unit managers, capital planning and design teams to plan and design faciliites for decontamination units. This guidance supersedes the decontamination guidance given in SHPN 52.
