As you will be aware NSS provided Project Management and Secretariat support to the report (National Stoma Quality Improvement SLWG (NSQIG) FINAL report.

This report references product pricing for Stoma products under an acute national contract (not the primary care Scottish Drug Tariff).

Response

I refer to your freedom of information request that we received on 12 May 2022. I can advise you that we have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information:

As you will be aware NSS provided Project Management and Secretariat support to the report (National Stoma Quality Improvement SLWG (NSQIG) FINAL report.

This report references product pricing for Stoma products under an acute national contract (not the primary care Scottish Drug Tariff).

1. Could I be given a link to or copy of the prices per product from this contract for stoma products (i.e. just like they are given on the Primary Care Scottish Stoma Drug Tariff).

Under (section 33(1)(b)) of FOISA information may be withheld if disclosure would (or would be likely to) prejudice substantially the commercial interests of any person or organisation.

There is an extension to a contract due to take place within the UK and therefore, releasing this information could impact the pricing in relation to this contract extension. NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) is unable to provide this information. However, what we can provide is the following price information table (Figure 1) which has been produced from the original Invitation to Tender (ITT) published on Public Contracts Scotland Tender. It shows the capped pricing for each of the product lots which we hope will be of assistance. Within the table (Figure 1) with reference to ‘Lot 10’, we have included the link to the Public Contracts Scotland website where this information is available.
