Response

I refer to your freedom of information request that we received on 27 April 2023. I can advise you that we have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information:

1. Who is your current teleradiology provider? (If multiple, who provides out of hours/ on-call support?)

Under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act (FOISA), an organisation does not require to provide information if it does not hold that information. NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) does not hold this information. NSS does not use any teleradiology providers. We manage a framework for the Heath Boards to access (NP18820 Radiology Reporting), that has multiple providers for the individual board to decide who meets their requirements best. Current providers available on the framework are:

  • 4Ways Medical
  • DMC Imaging
  • Inhealth
  • Medica
  • Remedy
  • Everlight
  • Telemedicine Clinic
  • Teleconsult Limited

2. When is the contract end date with your current teleradiology provider?

The current framework will end on 18th February 2025.

3. Which framework are you likely to use for procurement when you go to market for teleradiology services?

All NSS procurement frameworks are published here: https://www.publiccontractsscotland.gov.uk/

I trust you will find the information of assistance and if you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.
