I am looking for information on the footprint of Scottish health boards and their expenditure on managing medical records, combined with the real estate taken up by medical records.
In England this information is pulled together under the ePIMS Asset Database and I wondered if you were aware of anything similar for Scotland?

Under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act, 2002 (FOISA) an organisation does not have to provide any information if it does not hold that information. NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) does not hold any information in relation to Scottish Health boards expenditure with regards to medical records within the national Estates & Asset Management System (EAMS). The individual Health Boards (HB’S) may be able to provide you with this information and they can be contacted at the email addresses below.
Please find attached Appendix 1 – Scottish Asset Database, which is an extract from the national Estates & Asset Management System (EAMS). This will provide you with the real estate taken up by medical records throughout NHS Scotland. Please note the following caveat regarding this data; it is the responsibility of the individual HB’s to update this system with their data, therefore, this may be out-of-date.
