I am requesting information regarding Patient Transport provided by Dr Gray’s Hospital, Elgin for patients discharged:

1. Who are the current operators providing this?
2. When was the last tender for this?
3. What checks are in place to ensure cleanliness of vehicles used?
4. How is it decided which type of transport is used to take a patient home?
5. Is there a risk assessment carried out before the patient leaves hospital?
6. How many NHS vehicles are used?
7. What was the ratio of NHS vehicles / private operators since the current tender was awarded?
