We have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information:

Please see attached Appendix 1 - IVIgG issued to Scottish Hospitals, for the breakdown by product of immunoglobulin vials distributed to NHS Scotland Hospitals in each month for October, November, and December 2023.

Under Section 17 of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act 2002 (FOISA), an organisation does not have to provide that detail if it does not hold that detail. NHS National Services Scotland cannot provide information on the number of patients as we do not hold this level of detail. We only deliver as far as the Pharmacy Distribution Centre (PDC) in Greater Glasgow & Clyde (GG&C), therefore we do not have records of which hospitals the vials were issued to in that territory. Also, where a product does not appear, this is because we do not hold any record of vials distributed to NHS Scotland Hospitals for the months requested.

I trust you will find the information of assistance and if you require any further information, please do not hesitate to contact us.

If you are unhappy with any aspect of how we have dealt with your request, you can make representations to us asking us to review the handling of your request.

If you require any further information, please contact Head of Information and Cyber Security, Digital and Security within 40 working days of the date of this correspondence.
