Response

We have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information:

Cost of electric vs petrol/diesel

Under Section 33(1)(b) of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act, 2002 (FOISA), an organisation does not require to provide information if its disclosure under this Act would, or would be likely to, prejudice substantially the commercial interests of any person (including, without prejudice to that generality, a Scottish public authority) and as such any individual cost information is being withheld as it is commercially sensitive.

Pollution caused by excessive tyre wear. Electric vs petrol/diesel

Under Section 17 of the FOISA an organisation does not have to provide the information if it does not hold that information. NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) cannot provide details regarding the pollution caused by excessive tyre wear for electric or petrol/diesel cars as this information is not recorded due to the lease company enforcing a no quibble tyre replacement policy.

Down time electric vs petrol/diesel

Under Section 17 of the FOISA an organisation does not have to provide the information if it does not hold that information. NHS NSS cannot provide details regarding the down time for electric or petrol/diesel cars as this information is not recorded due to the type of lease on the vehicles meaning we would be provided a replacement car in the event of any issues.

Depreciation as electric vs petrol/diesel

Under Section 33(1)(b) of the FOISA, an organisation does not require to provide information if its disclosure under this Act would, or would be likely to, prejudice substantially the commercial interests of any person (including, without prejudice to that generality, a Scottish public authority) and as such any individual cost information relating to depreciation is being withheld as it is commercially sensitive.

Damage to roads due to excessive weight electric vs petrol/diesel

Under Section 17 of the FOISA an organisation does not have to provide the information if it does not hold that information. NHS NSS cannot provide details regarding the damage to roads due to excessive weight for electric or petrol/diesel cars as this metric is not one that is reported on.

The ability to seriously move to EV. Load capacity on the grid. Range/ weather constraints.

Under Section 17 of the FOISA an organisation does not have to provide the information if it does not hold that information. NHS NSS cannot provide details regarding the ability to seriously move to Electric Vehicles (EV) as we do not hold any data on the ability to move to EV.
