I wonder if you can help. In recent communication with NHS Grampian regarding outsourcing of NHS Ophthalmology they advised us, “we utilise the National Insourcing and National Outsourcing Frameworks managed by NHS National Services Scotland which private providers can join as framework suppliers.”
New Medical Systems Ltd trading as Newmedica are part of Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS) - gov.scot – is this perhaps the same framework? I haven’t been able to find the framework referred to by NHS Grampian.

I refer to your freedom of information request that we received on 07 November 2025 requesting the following information:

We have now completed the search of our records and can provide you with the following information:
NHS National Services Scotland (NSS) can confirm Newmedica are on our current Outsourcing Dynamic Purchasing Systems (DPS) framework. Under Section 15 (Duty to provide advice and assistance) of the Freedom of Information Scotland Act, 2002 NSS can also provide you with the following contract notices we have in relation to DPS:
