The intention was to publish this report annually, highlighting the work of NHS Scotland Health Boards’ Catering Services in response to the strategic objectives set out in the National Catering Production Strategy. This approach was deferred during the COVID-19 pandemic. Since then, the National Catering Production Strategy has been revised and can be found here: National Catering Production Strategy, and the previous version is no longer active. To ensure effective monitoring and delivery, the progress will be tracked through a National Implementation Plan which is due to be completed by the end of quarter one in 2026.
