This series is intended to provide an insight to the key factors within the built environment which can impact on the prevention and control of infection and will also be useful as a guide for best practice in existing healthcare facilities. Part A: manual Part B: implementation strategy and assessment process Part C: questionsets and checklists Compliance with these guidance documents can ensure that there are facilities in place to help fulfil the mandatory requirements outlined in the National Infection Prevention and Control Manual produced by Health Protection Scotland.
