Hospital accommodation for children and young people (HBN 23)

The main aim of this HBN is to ensure that children are given the best possible care and treatment in an age-appropriate way and a suitable environment. This HBN describes what form a comprehensive unit would take and identifies best practice in the built environment from a child-centred perspective. It is primarily intended for new-builds and upgrades of existing facilities.
