This guidance update is included as part of the normal document lifecycle, and includes references to developments in new initiatives, legislations, standards, policies and guidance.
SHTN 00-04 provides public sector health and care organisations (NHS Boards and Local Authorities) with a one-stop compendium of published guidance, legislation, standards and policy in Scotland relating to health technology, medical devices and equipment. The guidance is intended to support safe and effective medical devices and equipment risk management practice that complies with with current Regulations, Standards and Scottish Government policy, also aligns with relevant guidance and initiatives.
