NHSScotland Waste Management Guidance (SHTN 03-01 ARCHIVED)

This suite of guidance intended to assist all NHSScotland boards in meeting their waste management priorities by reflecting current legal, policy and procedural requirements and best practice. It provides guidance to staff and contractors involved at all stages of waste management in the modern healthcare setting. SHTN 3 guidance and recommendations are applicable wherever the NHS in Scotland provides healthcare services and produces waste of any kind.
