Peripheral blood stem cell collection

Peripheral blood stem cells are collected from patients and related donors in our centres in Aberdeen and Edinburgh, and from patients and related donors in our centre in Glasgow.
For patients in Tayside, the service is available in Edinburgh after initial local assessment.

Our service is for healthcare professionals and supports stem cell transplantation programmes.
All cells are processed in Human Tissue Authority (HTA) and Joint Accreditiation Committe of ISCT and EBMT (JACIE) accredited processing centres.
