Customer administration timescales

Generally, the customer administration team turnaround period is 20 working days from receipt with the exception of GP21a, GP208/GP209, and GP200.

Our customer administration team aims to turn these around within 2 to 4 working days from the date of receipt.

GP200

Because of the volumes and in view of withdrawal dates on the GP200 forms, our customer administration team aims to process withdrawals within the first available schedule closest to the withdrawal date. For instance, if we were to receive a withdrawal date of 12 December 2022 in early November 2022, we would aim to withdraw this patient in the December 2022 schedule. Please note that this also depends on when the GP200 has been received. If it has been received at the close of schedule, then the patient may not be withdrawn until the next schedule.

Turnaround periods will vary as some tasks cannot be actioned when the payment schedules for Dental and Ophthalmic are being run.
