The use of ultraviolet (UV) light systems for decontamination of the healthcare environment.
Existing research implies that improved surface cleaning and disinfection can reduce healthcare-associated infections. This review intends to assess the evidence base on the appropriateness of using UV light decontamination systems for both routine cleaning and terminal cleaning in the healthcare environment.
