Details

This series covers piped medical gases, medical and surgical air, and medical vacuum installations. It applies to all medical gas pipeline systems installed in healthcare premises and anaesthetic gas scavenging disposal systems.

  • Part A: design, installation, validation and verification
  • Part B: operational management

SHTM 02 supersedes all previous versions of SHTM 2022. Where SHTM 2022 has been used as the contractual document within current projects, SHTM 2022 would be applicable.
