The Histopathology EQA Scheme maintains and improves diagnostic standards in pathology laboratories. It has a base at Ninewells Hospital in Dundee.
What does the Histopathology EQA Scheme cover?
The scheme aims to promote consistency in pathology reporting standards across Scotland. It also contributes to continuing medical education. Pathology labs study and diagnose disease using cell and tissue samples.
The scheme is fully accredited by the United Kingdom Accreditation Service (UKAS).
