Key Stage Assurance Review (KSAR)

A KSAR is completed to ensure that IPC is implemented from initiation to handover and to demonstrate active collaboration between the Project Team and the Board IPC team. We work with boards to look at:

  • who is providing IPC advice, what experience or qualifications they have in the IPC role with respect to the built environment
  • how they receive the technical and advisory support they need, for example from mechanical, electrical, and plumbing specialists or more experienced members of the IPC Team
  • quantification of the allocated IPC provision, workforce capacity and resilience arrangements
  • different elements of the project and suggest the evidence that could be used to demonstrate assurance.
