ARHAI Scotland lead on the development and provision of national epidemiological data and intelligence to reduce healthcare associated infection and contain antimicrobial resistance.
We undertake surveillance on healthcare associated infections; provide epidemiological support to local and national outbreak and incident investigations; and support local Infection Prevention and Control teams with data and intelligence to inform clinical practice and improve patient care in Scotland.
